COLUMBUS, Ohio — Brian Hartline has the charisma, football savvy and teachings skills to be a very good head coach some day, and at least one program has reportedly figured that out about the Ohio State football receivers coach. Buckeye Scoop first reported Hartline is expected to interview at Cincinnati, which opened when Luke Fickell left to take over Wisconsin. Football Scoop reported the same, saying Hartline could interview as early as Thursday. That report said internal candidates — including longtime OSU assistant and recent defensive coordinator Kerry Coombs — have already interviewed. It also listed other outside candidates in addition to Hartline. If accurate, it makes perfect sense for Hartline to be involved with this job.
