Ohio State fans will need to watch championship weekend closely with their bowl game future both obvious and uncertain in 2022. The Ohio State Buckeyes have hopes of leaping from No. 5 in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings into the Top 4 this weekend. However, they need quite a bit of help on that front. The playoff is uncertain because Ryan Day’s squad won’t be playing in the Big Ten Championship Game. Their loss to rival Michigan denied them a chance at the Big Ten title and the playoff berth that surely would have come with it.
