Two days removed from an overtime loss to North Carolina at Madison Square Garden, Ohio State men’s basketball coach Chris Holtmann held his weekly radio show Monday afternoon. The Buckeyes will return to action Wednesday against Maine (8:30 p.m., Big Ten Network) in one of two remaining non-conference games on the schedule. After a brief break for Christmas, Ohio State will then have eight days until they get back on the court against Alabama A&M on Dec. 29. After that, it’s 19 straight Big Ten games to close the regular season. Ohio State is 7-3 overall and 1-0 in Big Ten play. The Buckeyes are No. 26 in the NCAA’s NET rankings used to sort resumes for NCAA Tournament seeding but dropped out of the Associated Press top 25 and are now among the teams receiving votes at No. 33 overall.
