Despite injuries to Sheldon and Greene, No. 3 Ohio State takes down No. 14 Michigan 66-57

Jacy Sheldon hasn’t played in a month. Madison Greene, just 12 games into her return from missing all of last season with a knee injury, injured her knee again 11 days ago and will be out for the rest of the season. And still, the No. 3 Ohio State women’s basketball team keeps finding a way to win. Without their top two options at point guard for the third game in a row as they hosted No. 14 Michigan on Saturday, the Buckeyes overcame an early deficit to win 66-57. Just over four minutes into the first quarter, Ohio State (15-0, 4-0) already trailed 8-0, forcing coach Kevin McGuff to call a timeout in an attempt to settle his team.
