Here's why Ohio State's student section won't be fully present for No. 1 Purdue

Twenty-six days after the final day of scheduled exams, classes resume at Ohio State on Monday. And when the men’s basketball team hosts Minnesota two days later at Value City Arena, the official student section will be in full force – and likely full voice – behind the team benches. First, though, the No. 24 Buckeyes will host the no-longer-undefeated No. 1 team in the nation Thursday night. When Ohio State welcomes 13-1 Purdue into the arena, it will do so without a dedicated student section on hand. Owing to the academic calendar and the fact that students are not required to be on campus until next week, the game against the Boilermakers was not included on the season ticket package for members of The Nuthouse this season.
