Well, when the game against Purdue tightened up, you just had a feeling with the way things have gone over the last few years, that Ohio State wouldn’t be able to pull it out. Despite the great effort, and despite going up by three points with under a minute left, the Buckeyes turned the ball over, gave up a wide-open three-pointer, and then once again couldn’t get a quality shot off to lose 71-69 to the No. 1 team in the country.
