Minnesota held a lead over the Buckeyes for the majority of the game but needed three clutch free throws in the final 10 seconds to earn a 70-67 win at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The Gophers (7-8 overall) had endured four straight conference losses, including the last two by a combined five points to Wisconsin and in overtime against Nebraska last week.
