
Ohio State senior Kaleb Romero brought the crowd to its feet, threw his arms in the air then gave an O-H. The senior wasted no time getting Ohio State in control Sunday as the No. 7-ranked Buckeyes cruised to a 27-12 win over No. 19 Rutgers. With the match starting at 184 pounds, Romero pinned freshman Brian Soldano with 14 seconds left in the bout. The meeting was a showdown between No. 5 Romero and No. 14 Soldano, who was unbeaten in duals coming into Sunday’s action at the Covelli Center in Columbus.
