MADISON – The Wisconsin men’s hockey team got its win over Ohio State Friday night. A series sweep, however, wasn’t in the cards. The Buckeyes shut down the Badgers’ power play and dominated the puck on the way to a 2-0 victory in front of a crowd of 9,766 Saturday night at the Kohl Center. Senior Tate Singleton scored the game-winner for Ohio State at the 6:24 mark of the second period. The Buckeyes’ other goal was an empty-netter by freshman Davis Burnside in the final minute. The loss marked the third time the Badgers were shutout this season. They dropped to 10-14 overall and 3-11 in the Big Ten.
