Ohio State has hit the midpoint of the Big Ten. On New Year’s Day, the Buckeyes earned a 16-point win at Northwestern to move them to 10-3 overall and 2-0 in Big Ten play leading into a showdown with No. 1 Purdue at Value City Arena four days later. What has transpired since has been a downward spiral of defeats, first by single digits and now recently by more decisive margins.
