MADISON – The Wisconsin women’s basketball team rebounded from its disappointing loss to Northwestern, it just didn’t get a victory out of the effort. The Badgers fell to No. 10 Ohio State, 90-67, in front of 2,890 fans at the Kohl Center on Wednesday night but not before almost entirely climbing out of a 16-point hole they created for themselves in the first half. The 23-point margin of defeat didn’t do justice to the Wisconsin’s effort for the night. Ultimately the Buckeyes’ balance, ability to cash in on UW turnovers and create transition opportunities allowed them to snap a three-game skid and stay within two games of Big Ten leader Indiana. Sophomore guard/forward Taylor Thierry finished with 25 points for the Buckeyes, who shot 55.2% overall.
