Ex-Ohio State football player Dimitrious Stanley dies of cancer

© Provided by CFB-HQ on FanNation The Ohio State football family is mourning the loss of former Buckeyes wide receiver Dimitrious Stanley, who has died after a battle with prostate cancer at the age of 48. Stanley suited up for Ohio State from 1993 to 1996, with his best football coming in his final season, a senior campaign in which he led the team with 829 yards and eight touchdowns off 43 catches. He ended his collegiate career with 63 receptions for 1,136 yards and 13 touchdowns, capping it off with a memorable Rose Bowl performance. In that famous game against Arizona State to cap off the 1996 season, Stanley led the game with five catches for 124 yards and a touchdown.
