On Wednesday evening, former Ohio State punter Michael O’Shaughnessy announced his commitment to the Spartans via social media. O’Shaughnessy had spent the previous four seasons with the Buckeyes, but attempted just one punt for OSU — a 41-yarder this past season against Maryland. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining. Michigan State will need to find a new starting punter next season after consensus first team All-American Bryce Baringer used his sxth and final season of collegiate eligibility.
