Michigan State looks for some momentum against slumping Ohio State


EAST LANSING – When Michigan State took to the Breslin Center practice court on Thursday, it did so after two important events in the previous two days: a win over Maryland on Tuesday that broke a two-game losing streak. And a rare day off on Wednesday from nearly all basketball activities. The result was a better feel in the practice gym and a productive afternoon for a team that hasn’t had many of those amid injuries and a crowded schedule. “It felt a lot different, you could feel everybody’s energy today when you win,” Michigan State junior forward Mady Sissoko said. “Coming off of the win, it was a big thing for us.
