Ohio State’s struggles continued Thursday as the Buckeyes fell 90-75 against the Iowa Hawkeyes in Iowa City. The Buckeyes (11-15, 3-12 Big Ten) trailed the Hawkeyes (17-9, 9-6 Big Ten) by 11 at the half, and were outscored 45-39 in the second period to seal the defeat. Senior guard Sean McNeil was a bright spot for the Buckeyes (11-15, 3-12 Big Ten) scoring 20 points in the affair. This matched his total from November 21, when the Buckeyes lost to No. 17 San Diego State during the Maui Invitational.
