WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Zed Key won’t get his chance at a rematch against Purdue. After suffering a left shoulder sprain in the opening four minutes of the first meeting between these two teams this season, the Ohio State third-year center will miss Sunday’s return game at Mackey Arena as he continues to battle the effects from that injury. He’s not the only Buckeye who could miss time. Freshman guard Roddy Gayle, who injured his ankle in Thursday’s loss at Iowa, is listed as questionable. The 6-8, 255-pound Key is third on the team in scoring at 10.8 points and tops in rebounding with 7.5 per game. He missed one game with the shoulder injury, returned for a Jan. 12 home loss to Minnesota and has been dealing with the effects since.
