Starter Gavin Bruni gave up two earned runs in the top of the first, three total. He would last just 3.1 innings but the OSU bats got going before Bruni left. Four singles in the bottom of the third put Ohio State up 3-2, but Bruni’s unearned run would tie the game back up. The Buckeye bats once again got going, this time in the bottom of the fifth, with the big hit being a double by Matthew Graveline, scoring two.
