Since beating Iowa inside Value City Arena on Jan. 21, Ohio State had endured a nine-game losing streak that, coupled with the five-game losing streak leading into the Iowa game, had seen them take 14 losses in 15 games. There were last-minute losses, blowout losses and injury losses all leading into Sunday’s 72-60 home win against Illinois.
