For the first time since Jan. 21, the Ohio State Buckeyes won a game. They got back in the win column with a 72-60 defeat of the Illinois Fighting Illini Sunday, which their next opponent, the Maryland Terrapins, also took down on Dec. 2, 2022. The Terrapins (20-9, 11-7 Big Ten) enter play Wednesday winners of eight of their last 10 games, as they have charged up to third in the Big Ten standings and are still in contention for a share of the regular-season conference title. Ohio State (12-17, 4-14 Big Ten) comes in quite the opposite, as it won just its third game of the calendar year against the Illini, snapping what was a nine-game losing streak.…
