The No. 9 Ohio State men’s hockey team drops the puck on the postseason against No. 10 Penn State at Value City Arena with a best-of-three series this Friday, Saturday and (if needed) Sunday. The third-seed Buckeyes and the six-seed Nittany Lions will take part in the 2023 Big Ten Quarterfinals. The games this weekend mark the second straight year in which Ohio State and Penn State will play each other in the tournament’s opening round. As mentioned earlier, the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions squared off in Columbus in last year’s Big Ten Quarterfinal.
