
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s list of NFL Scouting Combine invitations has dwindled a bit the past few years, compared to the Buckeyes’ historical highs. Expect that to change — perhaps significantly — next year. One does not need to stretch much to come up with a list of 18 players who could earn invitations to the annual scouting showcase. Some of them will be early entry invites, including some third-year players. But those are also players who arrived at OSU as major prospects on a three-year trajectory to the pros. Recommended Buckeyes stories The record number of invites for one team in year is believed to be LSU’s 16 in 2020, after its undefeated national championship season.
