Ohio State basketball is two wins away from accomplishing a rare feat


COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State basketball team has taken the term March Madness and run with it since showing up in Chicago on Wednesday for the Big Ten Tournament. A team that had spent much of the past two months losing 14 of 15 games has found a way to finally click in March and is now two wins away from keeping its NCAA Tournament streak alive. OSU hasn’t missed the tournament in the five years under Chris Holtmann, and that was set to come to an end in Year 6 following a disappointing 13-18 (5-15 Big Ten) regular season. Now it heads into a game against Purdue on Saturday afternoon looking to make history with a trip to the conference championship on the line.
