With the potential departures from the program, Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Chris Holtmann might look to the transfer portal for a pair of replacements. Guard Sean McNeil is out of eligibility and his replacement might come in the form of Towson graduate transfer Nicolas Timberlake, who was a scorer for the Tigers at a team-high 17.7 points per game which was third in the Colonial Athletic Association. At 6-4, Timberlake is a pure shooter, knocking down 45.5 percent of his shots, 41.6 percent of his 3s and 84.6 percent of his free throws which ranked fifth, second and first, respectively, in the Colonial en route to being named a First Team All-CAA selection.
