Brian Hartline is not just about to become the hopeful play-caller for Ohio State football, but also a very wealthy assistant coach. So are eight others Buckeye assistant coaches, according to the Columbus Dispatch. Nine coaches received bumps in pay raises for the impending season. Hartline, who was promoted from pass-game coordinator to full-time offensive coordinator, will make the most at $1.6 million. Last season, former offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson only made $1.4 million. Following the Buckeyes’ College Football Playoff berth, Wilson departed the program to become the head coach at Tulsa.
