Ohio State football’s Dallan Hayden committed to bigger, brighter future with Buckeyes


COLUMBUS, Ohio — In the adrenaline-fueled battles on game day, Ohio State football’s Dallan Hayden did not feel the effects of Big Ten contact on his mid 190-pound frame. He felt it a day or two later. As a result, he is walking around the Woody Hayes Athletic Center this spring at 205 pounds. You can see it in the sophomore’s arms and upper body. He hopes defenders feel it this fall. “I’ve got a little power to me, and I feel like I always run full speed and I can hit the crease,” Hayden said. Hayden did not enroll until last summer, then he arrived in a big way during the season when OSU needed him most.
