Ohio State defensive end Omari Abor underwent a surgery for an undisclosed injury on Tuesday. Posting to his Instagram Story, he shared a photo of himself in a hospital gown with a caption reading, “Surgery went good. Preciated all the prayers from y’all.” No other details were immediately known. Abor was seen practicing by reporters when the Buckeyes opened preseason training camp on Thursday, and coach Ryan Day said last week that they were at full strength. The Buckeyes have held four practices since Thursday. All were closed to media. A knee injury sidelined Abor for nearly all of his freshman season last fall. He redshirted after appearing in only one non-conference game against Arkansas State.
