Both Sorsby and fellow redshirt freshman Tayven Jackson are expected to play, per IndyStar’s understanding. Sorsby and Jackson spent the offseason and preseason locked in a tight battle for IU’s starting job behind center. Repeatedly, IU coach Tom Allen made it clear his staff was struggling to separate the two based on practice and scrimmage performances.
