Arizona Cardinals OL Paris Johnson Jr. honors Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins Jr.

Before Paris Johnson Jr.’s first NFL game, he found time to honor a former Ohio State quarterback. Prior to Johnson and the Arizona Cardinals’ 20-16 loss to the Washington Commanders Sunday afternoon, the former Ohio State offensive lineman arrived at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland wearing a Dwayne Haskins Jr. shirt, paying tribute to the former Buckeye and Commanders quarterback, who died in April 2022. Johnson’s shirt had many pictures of Haskins in his Ohio State career, which lasted from 2016-18. In Haskins’ three seasons with the Buckeyes, including one season as the team’s starting quarterback in 2018 where he was a Heisman Trophy finalist, he completed 413 of his 590 pass attempts for 5,396 yards, 54 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
