COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football leads Minnesota only 13-0 at halftime after the field position game heavily favored the Gophers. All five of the Buckeyes’ first-half possessions started inside their own 15. Two started at their own 3. That included the final possession of the half, which fizzled out under pass protection breakdowns. Ohio State’s defense has dominated as expected, allowing a mere 90 yards and four first downs.
