COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State earned a 37-3 win over Minnesota on Saturday, setting up a massive 11-0 vs 11-0 showdown against Michigan on Nov. 25. Here are a few observations from the win over the Golden Gophers, and what it means for the regular season finale: 1. Jack Sawyer is playing like he has to Ohio State’s defensive line has a bevy of players that have been, for at least at parts of this season, stellar. But one player who has flown under the radar for months has been defensive end Jack Sawyer, at least as it compares to cornerback Denzel Burke, linebacker Tommy Eichenberg and a handful of others.
