It’s the ultimate goal of a program like Ohio State each and every year. Sure, fans want to win every game by a couple of touchdowns (at least), win the Big Ten and throttle Michigan, but there’s also the goal of a national championship that’s just a part of the culture on the banks of the Olentangy. We’ve been following the oddsmakers and what they say when it comes to teams that have the best shot at winning the national title, and those odds have ebbed and flowed each week as the results on the field are observed and consumed like an unknown appetizer to the entree that is the full season. There’s only one week of the regular season left in college football, so the wise guys in Vegas have more game film and observations than they’ve ever had to set new odds and we’re ready to digest it…
