ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Wolverines are flooding the field, flinging helmets and bathing in their crowd’s cheers. They’re undefeated again, Big Ten East champions again. They’re going to the Big Ten championship for a third straight time, and there is nothing the Buckeyes can say about it this time. The Wolverines beat Ohio State 30-24 on Saturday at Michigan Stadium. They did it clean and without controversy, which means they did it in a way that will hurt its archrival deepest. In a nation that celebrates second chances, Ohio State football earned the rare third. The Buckeyes’ consecutive losses to Michigan haven’t counted over the last six weeks while UM has been investigated for stealing play-calling signals.
