Hurricanes flip St. Thomas Aquinas running back Jordan Lyle from Ohio State, add transfer center Zach Carpenter

The Miami Hurricanes flipped their second Ohio State commit in the 2024 class on Monday night. Miami swayed St. Thomas Aquinas four-star running back Jordan Lyle to back off his commitment to the Buckeyes and pick UM instead. Lyle announced his commitment on social media. Miami also picked up a commitment from Indiana center Zach Carpenter. Lyle, who is listed as the No. 11 running back and No. 145 player in the 2024 class in 247Sports’ composite ranking, had been committed to Ohio State since April 29.
