Offensive lineman Marcelys Jones, the former Army All-American recruit who transferred to Kentucky after one season at Ohio State in search of more playing time, has been dismissed from the Wildcats team, coach Mark Stoops announced Monday.
“I have some other sad news that you’ll probably hear about,” Stoops said at Monday’s news conference (via Cleveland.com). “Marcelys Jones … I had to dismiss him from the team for a violation of team rules, and he will no longer be with us.”
