Ohio State Football Recruiting: Buckeyes’ DE/OLB Recruit Decommits

Urban Meyer’s 2013 recruiting class has decreased to 12 members after Lewis Neal de-committed from Ohio State late Monday night, according to Eleven Warriors.
The 3-star defensive end/linebacker was offered a scholarship by the LSU Tigers over the weekend, and he said of the Buckeyes via his personal Twitter account:
ya’ll are still on my top list trust me … I’m still considering ya’ll, I just need time.
In terms of ratings, Neal doesn’t quite fit in with Meyer’s high-profile recruiting class, which includes two 5-star and eight 4-star athletes. Still, Meyer believed he was worthy to play defense for the silver bullets.
Neal had committed to OSU on April 23 along with 5-star defensive end Joey Bosa. No longer carrying the verbal agreement, he holds offers from Clemson, East Carolina, LSU, Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Ohio State.
