How Urban Meyer’s Legendary Status Impacts Big Ten Recruiting

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is widely considered to be a great college football recruiter, and his two national championships at Florida make it easy to call him a great coach. But is the man the Buckeyes now call coach a legend?
According to quotes via Bill Kurelic of 247Sports.com, 2014 4-star running back Derrell Scott certainly thinks Meyer is a legend:

“I watched a little of their game (against Miami of Ohio) on TV.” Scott said. “Ohio State has a good team. I liked their offense. I really like what coach (Urban) Meyer is doing. He’s a legendary coach. He knows what it takes to win and get players to the next level.”
