Ohio State Defeats Michigan 26-21 To Go 12-0 To Finish The Season


The No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes shut out 20th-ranked Michigan Wolverines thanks to stellar play from their defense to give the Buckeyes a 26-21 victory on Saturday, making it a 12-0 season for the Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes were just 6-7 last season loosing to Michigan but that is now ancient history to Buckeyes across the nation. Urban Meyer showed what a quality coach is able to achieve in leading the Buckeyes to a perfect season.

Ohio State (12-0, 8-0 Big Ten) is ineligible for a BCS national title but still has an outside shot at finishing No. 1 in the final Associated Press Top 25 if other contenders lose. Michigan (8-4, 6-2) will now await a minor bowl bid.

Drew Basil played a huge part in the win with 4 field goals and the surprisingly, the defense did the rest forcing 3 turnovers from the explosive duo of Gardner and Robinson.

There were 105,899 in attendance, the largest crowd ever at an Ohio State – Michigan game in Columbus.  The Live Webcam was full of scarlet and gray.  Go Bucks!
