It’s that time of year again – with the dog days of summer soon making way for the autumn months, college football fans across the nation are gearing up for the 2015 college football season. Just four weeks remain before Kickoff Weekend gets underway, and it’s never too early to take a look at who’s who among top-priced schools on the secondary market this season. It will be another big year for Notre Dame both on the field and at the box office, as the Fighting Irish own the most expensive home season ticket average in college football. According to TiqIQ, the average secondary price for Notre Dame tickets at Notre Dame Stadium is $290.35, marking a considerable 27.32% jump from last season’s average of $228.04. The Fighting Irish owned the second most expensive season average prior to the start of the 2014 season, after No. 1 Ohio State, at $237.21. The team can credit its secondary market success to top-priced games against Texas on September 5 and USC on October 17, which average a whopping $1,029.13 and $474.11, respectively.
