College football’s Treat 16 Power Poll: Ohio State Buckeyes are dominant

The Ohio State Buckeyes picked up right where they left off in the 2014 season. The defending champions avenged their only loss from last season, defeating Virginia Tech 42-24. After their win on Monday, Kirk Herbstreit picked the Buckeyes as his No.1 team. While it wasn’t the Buckeyes’ best performance, their play was certainly impressive for a season opening win. Two time Big Ten offensive Player of the year Braxton Miller may have found his true calling at wide receiver. Actually, Miller plays H-back for the Buckeyes, so he lined up all over the field, displaying an array of tantalizing moves against Virginia Tech. In all, Miller had two touchdowns, including a touchdown reception, giving Ohio State the lead for good in the second half. …
