Campbell Trophy, a group including Ohio State senior center Jacoby Boren. The winner of the trophy will receive an $18,000 postgraduate scholarship and a trip to New York City for the NFF Awards Dinner on Dec. 8. Boren said via a university release he is “very proud” and “very humbled” to be among the finalists. “This is truly an honor to be considered among the top student-athletes in your class and to also be able to contribute to the rich tradition of Ohio State national scholar-athletes,” Boren said. Known as “the academic Heisman,” the Campbell Trophy (formerly the Draddy Award) has previously gone to Ohio State quarterbacks Bobby Hoying and Craig Krenzel.
