‘I’m the quarterback of Ohio State:’ Dash cam video released following J.T. Barrett DUI citation

COLUMBUS, Ohio – J.T. Barrett, Ohio State’s starting quarterback, was cited Oct. 31 for driving under the influence and TMZ has just obtained dash camera video from that night. In the video, you can see Barrett performing field sobriety tests as he cooperates with officers. At one point he tells them “I’m the quarterback of Ohio State.” The video ends as Barrett tells officers than Cardale Jones will be picking him up. The 20-year-old was cited at a DUI checkpoint during the bye week for the Buckeyes. Although he did well during a field sobriety tests, officers said his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit. Coach Urban Meyer said Barrett told him he didn’t believe he was impaired when he was pulled over. Barrett was suspended for the game against Minnesota and Cardale Jones started. Meyer said Monday that Barrett is considered the starter heading into this Saturday’s game at Illinois. Barrett appeared in court Tuesday, his license  was suspended for 180 days, and he was also ordered to attend a three-day intervention program. …
