Notre Dame Football: Previewing the Fiesta Bowl vs. Ohio State

No. 8 ranked Notre Dame football will be facing off against No. 7 Ohio State in a clash of two storied programs for this season’s Fiesta Bowl. The game will be played on New Year’s Day at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona and will be televised on ESPN at 1:00 p.m. (EST). The Fighting Irish, who finished the regular season at 10-2, are considered underdogs to the one-loss Buckeyes, as Vegas has Ohio State favored by 6.5 points. Personally, I haven’t doubted this Notre Dame team since previewing DeShone Kizer’s first start against Georgia Tech. Kizer proved me wrong and I’ve felt confident in the Irish in every game, until now. I believe Notre Dame has the talent to beat Urban Meyer’s Buckeyes, but I don’t see them coming out with a win on Friday.
