Ohio State: What Is Wrong With The Basketball Team?

The Ohio State basketball team has been struggling as of late and the Voice of the Fan sees a reason why. When the Ohio State basketball team beat the University of Kentucky on a neutral court earlier this season, they looked very good doing so. After that game, you may have thought that the Buckeyes have finally came together, especially their younger players. We found out that the Ohio State basketball team’s success was because they had a hot night shooting three pointers and otherwise out-hustling the Wild Cats. They matched up well against them and had a very good night shooting. To say everything went right is an understatement. Since then, Ohio State won six of their last nine games, but they lost three of their last four and were embarrassed by a good Indiana team. The Buckeyes are young and for the most part inexperienced! There is only one senior (forward Jake Lorbach) and one junior (forward Marc Loving) on the roster. The rest of the players are sophomores and freshmen. You would think that Ohio State would develop into a better team, but there is still hope for that to happen. More from Factory of Sadness Their biggest problem is that the Ohio State basketball team does not have a real leader — a go-to player who can get the big basket at crunch time. This current Buckeyes team needs a D’Angelo Russell, Evan Turner, or Jared Sullinger type of player who will score late in the game to take or keep the lead.
