Published: Monday, 1/25/2016 – Updated: 6 minutes ago Studrawa says return ‘is 2nd homecoming’ BY DAVID BRIGGSBLADE SPORTS WRITER COLUMBUS — When Urban Meyer began assembling his first Ohio State coaching staff in late 2011, he dialed up one of his favorite old Bowling Green assistants.  Greg Studrawa was in his fifth year as the offensive line coach at LSU and first as the Tigers’ offensive coordinator. But perhaps the Fostoria native was interested in a reunion.  “I’ve always had it in my mind to get back together coaching with Urban,” Studrawa said. “We talked about [a job], but I had just been named coordinator at LSU, and I had daughters still in high school. I thought it would be great for them to finish high school in the same place. Sometimes, there are family considerations.” This month, it was Studrawa — newly out of work after coaching the past two years at Maryland — who made the call to Meyer.  Studrawa asked to use Meyer as a reference in case a good job opened, only for his former boss to do him one better.
