Class of 2016 DB Jordan Fuller Chooses Ohio State Over Michigan and Notre Dame

The four-star safety from New Jersey is headed to Columbus to play his college ball. Class of 2016 defensive back/athlete Jordan Fuller (Westwood, New Jersey) has committed to Ohio State, he announced on Monday evening. Michigan and Notre Dame were the other two schools in the mix. Fuller is a four-star prospect and the sixth-ranked athlete in the class, according to 247’s Composite ranking system. The Buckeyes were seen as the heavy favorite throughout his recruitment, but the Wolverines made a tough push in recent weeks as they attempted to solidify the New Jersey pipeline with Fuller and hopefully Rashan Gary later on this week. Michigan has running back Kareem Walker, wide receivers Ahmir Mitchell and Brad Hawkins, defensive end Ron Johnson and defensive tackle Michael Dwumfour all committed to the 2016 class from the Garden State so far. The Wolverines now play the waiting game, as the lone remaining defensive back on the board Lavert Hill makes his decision on Wednesday. He is expected to choose between Michigan and Michigan State.
