Here’s what you need to know for the game. It seems strange that Michigan basketball only plays Ohio State only once during the regular Big Ten season this year, but that’s the state of the conference with 14 teams right now. Tuesday night will be the Wolverines’ one opportunity to conquer the Buckeyes, unless they run into each other again during the Big Ten tournament. Related Story: Wolverines’ outlook after beating Purdue Michigan needs at least another win (probably more) to really feel good about its NCAA tournament chances. Saturday’s upset over Purdue was a good start, but the resume still needs a little building. Getting a win over a solid rival on the road is a good way to impress once again. Caris LeVert has said he’s not all the way back to his old self, so he might be filling in as a role player once again. If he heats up a little more than the Purdue game, he’ll probably get a few more minutes. I wouldn’t expect him to start again just yet though.
