COLUMBUS — Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer has assembled quite a panel for his football clinic surrounding the Spring football game in April. Joining the fourth-year head coach is former head coach Jim Tressel who led the Buckeyes to the 2002 national championship and was inducted into the school’s Varsity ‘O’ Hall of Fame last fall. Also returning is former Buckeye player, assistant coach and current Denver Broncos asst. coach Fred Pagac, who was the architect of the Silver Bullets defense, known for its attacking style he brought to life in the 90’s. Football Fever analyst Matt Finkes played under Pagac at Ohio State and described him as the ultimate players coach. “He used to get in the piles we had in practice when the offense would go against the defense.” Finkes also described Pagac as a coach who could be very emotional when discussing the history and tradition of the Ohio State University. “I remember he cried right along with us in the locker room after the Rose Bowl (1997).” NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter is also on the panel.
