2016 NFL Draft Rumors: Ezekiel Elliot Slams Rival Jim Harbaugh

According to Elliott during his guest appearance at the Paul Finebaum Show last week, he is getting tired of seeing reports and being asked about the Wolverines’ coach. He also noted that although fans consider the Wolverines and Buckeyes as rivals, he said it should not be called as such if the other team is not winning any games. “I’m tired of hearing about coach Harbaugh,” the young athlete said during the show according to CBS Sports. “He needs to get in check with reality, because at the end of the day, you can’t talk smack about a rivalry when you haven’t won a rivalry game.” You have to win ballgames to talk behind it,” he added. Although he may sound a bit bashful, Elliot can back up what he said given his history with the Buckeyes. During his three-year stint with Ohio State, he and the Buckeyes dominated the games against Michigan. Even when they took on the Wolverines in a Michigan city, Elliott felt the overwhelming support of the crowd for the Buckeyes. “That felt like a home game for us,” he said. “We had so many Buckeyes there, you know, being in Ann Arbor and the Big House…and hearing the O-H-I-O chant in their house, just was a special moment.” Like Us on Facebook “And seeing all their fans leave before the game’s over, and seeing the red sea in their stadium was one of the top college moments I’ve had,” he added. Finebaum then seemed to further fuel Elliott’s dislike for Harbaugh by asking him what he thinks about the University of Michigan team.
