Urban Meyer, Jim Harbaugh get photo friendly

The end is nigh. Stock up. Already the greatest rivalry in all of sports*, Michigan-Ohio State added another level of intensity and/or intrigue with Jim Harbaugh taking over the Wolverines following the end of the 2014 season.  While the rivalry remains just as heated off the field amongst fans, it stayed, at least for one season, lopsided on it as Urban Meyer‘s Buckeyes dropped the Wolverines by 29 points in Harbaugh-Meyer Bowl I in Ann Arbor last fall, OSU’s fourth straight win in the series and 10th in the last 11 meetings. For all of the vitriol in the rivalry, though, there’s also a level of respect, especially when it comes to the coaches.  That respect was on display last year.  And then again Friday night. At the annual Dick Vitale gala to raise money for cancer research, Meyer was feted for being “an active pediatric cancer research supporter over the years.”  Also in attendance?  Harbaugh, with ESPN’s Chris Fowler capturing both creatures together, outside of their natural habitat in a photograph that’s certainly one for the ages.
