Former Ohio State Buckeyes star Chico Nelson, a three-year starter at safety for the team from 1990-93, passed away on Tuesday morning. Nelson was just 46 years old. Nelson was a captain of the football team during his time at Columbus, and his former teammates took to social media to honor Nelson and share their condolences with his family and friends.
